Here is an excerpt of Ellen Wasylina’s Editorial :
« In this first issue, we open with a selection of articles that are all relevant to today’s challenges .
We start in Sweden , with Gustav Magnusson asking us to reimagine our roles , with takeaways from his recent book of 200 conversations with urbainsts and architects . Then to Bulgaria, where in the next article Zornitsa Roussinova asks the excellent question if the EU social policy is really green ?
The next three articles take us to Algeria, France and Türkiye , with articles written by Drs. professors Sari, Ramadan and Güney, who bring into focus the challenges of re-industrialisation, reliable sources of baseload energy that are needed, such as hydrogen, as every country looks to energy security and the immense challenges that nuclear proliferation will bring .
Finally , we zoom out at the end to look at the multilateral UN mission in Afghanistan with Ambassador Samad , before closing on the all encompassing topic of the implications of climate change on global security by Ellen Wasylina. »
